But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them bring charges that he has cursed both God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death.”

『不可咒罵官長，不可咒詛你民間的首領。

於是他們教唆人說：『我們曾聽見他說了謗讟摩西和上帝的話。』

你要告訴以色列人說：凡咒罵他的上帝的、總要擔當他的罪罰。那咒詛永恆主的名的、必須被處死；全會眾總要扔石頭把他砍死；不管是寄居的、是本地人、咒詛了聖名，就必須被處死。

有人出來、是無賴子、勾引了他們城內的居民說：「我們去事奉別的神吧」；這些神是你們素來所不認識的；

『單獨一個見證人不能起來指證一個人有甚麼愆尤或甚麼罪，就是說不能指證他所犯的任何罪，總要憑着兩個見證人的口、或三個見證人的口、罪案才能成立。

祭司長和全議院直尋假見證告耶穌，好治死他；卻找不着，雖則有許多假證人上前來。後來有兩個人上前來，說：『這個人曾經說過：「我能拆毁上帝的殿堂，三日之間把它建造起來。」』大祭司就站起來，對耶穌說：『你甚麼都不回答；這些人作見證告你甚麼呢？』耶穌卻不作聲。大祭司對他說：『我指着永活的上帝誓囑你，告訴我們，你是上帝的兒子、上帝所膏立者不是。』耶穌對他說：『你說的是；然而我告訴你們，你們這就要看見人子坐在「權能」的右邊了，還要駕着天雲來臨呢。』祭司長就撕開衣裳說：『他說了僭妄的話了；我們還需要見證人麼？你看，如今你們聽見僭妄的話了；你們以為怎樣？』他們回答說：『他應該死。』

猶太人回答他說：『我們要用石頭打你，不是為了你的善事，乃是為了你的僭妄；因為你是人，你竟把自己當做上帝。』

並且設下假見證說：『這個人不停地講話、蹧踐這聖地和律法。

他們心裏正暢快的時候，忽有城裏的人一些無賴子、把房子圍住，連連敲門，對房主老人說：『把進你家那個人帶出來，我們要和他交合。』
