But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them bring charges that he has cursed both God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death.”

“不可咒罵神，也不可咒詛你人民的領袖。

於是他們唆使眾人，說：“我們聽過他說謗瀆摩西和神的話。”

你要告訴以色列人：咒詛神的，必擔當自己的罪。褻瀆耶和華聖名的人，必被處死，全體會眾要扔石頭打他；不論是寄居的外人或是本地人，如果褻瀆聖名，必被處死。

有些匪徒從你中間出來，把本城的居民引離，說：‘我們去事奉別的神吧。’那些神是你們素來不認識的；

“人無論有甚麼過錯，或是犯了甚麼罪惡，不可憑著一個見證人的指證，總要憑著兩個見證人的口供，或是三個見證人的口供，才可以確定。

祭司長和公議會全體都想找假證供來控告耶穌，好把他處死；雖然有許多人前來作假證供，卻找不著證據。最後有兩個人前來說：“這人說過：‘我可以拆毀神的聖所，三日之內又把它建造起來。’”大祭司就站起來，對耶穌說：“你為甚麼不回答？這些人作證，控告你的是甚麼呢？”耶穌卻不作聲。大祭司又對他說：“我指著永生的神要你起誓，告訴我們你是不是基督、神的兒子。”耶穌回答：“你已經說了﹙“你已經說了”或譯：“這是你說的。”﹚；但我告訴你們：從今以後，你們要看見人子，坐在權能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。”大祭司就撕開衣服，說：“他說了褻瀆的話，我們還要甚麼證人呢？你們現在聽見了這褻瀆的話，認為怎樣呢？”他們回答：“他是該死的。”

猶太人對他說：“我們不是因為善事用石頭打你，而是因為你說了僭妄的話；又因為你是個人，竟然把自己當作神。”

並且造了假的證供說：“這人不斷抨擊聖地和律法。

他們心裡正暢快的時候，忽然城裡有些無賴之徒，圍繞房子，不住地敲門，對老房主說：“把進入你家的那個人帶出來，我們要與他交合。”
