The rest of them escaped to the city of Aphek, where the wall collapsed on twenty-seven thousand of them. And Ben-Hadad fled to the city and hid in an inner room.

The rest of the men of Aram escaped to the city of Aphek. Its wall fell down on 27,000 of them. Ben- Hadad ran to the city. He hid in a secret room.

逃避恐怖的必掉進陷阱，從陷阱爬上來的必被網羅纏住。天上的水閘開啟，大地的根基搖動。

即使他們藏在迦密山的峰頂，我也要去搜尋，捉住他們；即使他們潛到海底，我也要派海蛇去吞咬他們；

逃過驚恐的必落入深坑，爬出深坑的必陷入網羅，因為我懲罰摩押的時候到了。這是耶和華說的。

他們見敵人就殺。亞蘭人敗逃，以色列人乘勢追擊。亞蘭王便·哈達騎著馬與一些騎兵落荒而逃。

現在我尼布甲尼撒頌讚、尊崇、敬奉天上的王，因為祂的作為公正，祂行事公平，能夠貶抑行為驕傲的人。」

你們的光景將好像人逃避獅子，卻遇上了熊，逃回家裡，手扶牆壁，又被蛇咬。

仁慈的人，你以仁慈待他；純全的人，你以純全待他；

便·哈達又派人去對亞哈說：「若撒瑪利亞的塵土夠我的士兵每人抓一把，願神明重重地懲罰我。」

西羅亞樓倒塌時曾壓死了十八個人。你們以為他們比耶路撒冷其他人更有罪嗎？

快捷的無法逃遁，強壯的無力可施，勇猛的救不了自己，拉弓的站立不住，腿快的無法逃脫，騎馬的救不了自己。
