王又對示每說：「你向我父親大衛所行的一切惡事，你自己心裏也知道，所以耶和華必使你的罪惡歸到自己的頭上；

王又說：「你以前如何惡待我父大衛，你自己心裡明白，現在耶和華要追究你的罪行了。

王又對示每說：『你自己知道你對我父親大衛所行過的一切壞事、你心裏知道永恆主必使你作的壞事都歸到你自己頭上。

又曰、昔爾行於我父大衛之惡、爾心所存、爾悉知之、今耶和華必使爾惡、歸於爾首、

又曰、昔爾以惡待我父大闢、爾心所知、今耶和華必因是惡而報施焉。

王又謂示每曰、昔爾以惡待我父大衛、爾心所知、今主因爾此惡、使罪歸於爾首、

The king also said to Shimei,“ You know in your heart all the wrong you did to my father David. Now the Lord will repay you for your wrongdoing.

The king continued,“ You know all the wrong things you did to my father David. In your heart you know them. Now the Lord will pay you back for what you did.

The king also said to Shimei,“ You know in your own heart all the harm that you did to David my father. So the Lord will bring back your harm on your own head.

The king also said to Shimei,“ You certainly remember all the wicked things you did to my father, David. May the Lord now bring that evil on your own head.

The king also said,“ You yourself know all the evil that you did to my father David. Therefore, the LORD has brought back your evil on your head,

The king also said to Shimei,“ You yourself know all the evil that you acknowledge in your heart, which you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your evil on your own head.

The king said moreover to Shimei,“ You know, as your heart acknowledges, all the wickedness that you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your wickedness on your own head.

The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thy heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my father: therefore Jehovah shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head.

The king also said,“ You yourself know all the evil that you did to my father David. Therefore, the Lord has brought back your evil on your head,

Then the king said to Shimei,“ You are well aware of the way you mistreated my father David. The LORD will punish you for what you did.

大衛王到了巴戶琳，見有一個人出來，是掃羅族基拉的兒子，名叫示每。他一面走一面咒罵，又拿石頭砍大衛王和王的臣僕；眾民和勇士都在王的左右。示每咒罵說：「你這流人血的壞人哪，去吧去吧！你流掃羅全家的血，接續他作王；耶和華把這罪歸在你身上，將這國交給你兒子押沙龍。現在你自取其禍，因為你是流人血的人。」洗魯雅的兒子亞比篩對王說：「這死狗豈可咒罵我主我王呢？求你容我過去，割下他的頭來。」王說：「洗魯雅的兒子，我與你們有何關涉呢？他咒罵是因耶和華吩咐他說：『你要咒罵大衛。』如此，誰敢說你為甚麼這樣行呢？」大衛又對亞比篩和眾臣僕說：「我親生的兒子尚且尋索我的性命，何況這便雅憫人呢？由他咒罵吧！因為這是耶和華吩咐他的。或者耶和華見我遭難，為我今日被這人咒罵，就施恩與我。」於是大衛和跟隨他的人往前行走。示每在大衛對面山坡，一面行走一面咒罵，又拿石頭砍他，拿土揚他。

他的毒害必臨到他自己的頭上；他的強暴必落到他自己的腦袋上。

大衛聽見拿八死了，就說：「應當稱頌耶和華，因他伸了拿八羞辱我的冤，又阻止僕人行惡；也使拿八的惡歸到拿八的頭上。」於是大衛打發人去，與亞比該說，要娶她為妻。

所以主耶和華如此說：「我指着我的永生起誓，他既輕看指我所起的誓，背棄指我所立的約，我必要使這罪歸在他頭上。

耶和華必使約押流人血的罪歸到他自己的頭上；因為他用刀殺了兩個比他又義又好的人，就是以色列元帥尼珥的兒子押尼珥和猶大元帥益帖的兒子亞瑪撒，我父親大衛卻不知道。故此，流這二人血的罪必歸到約押和他後裔的頭上，直到永遠；惟有大衛和他的後裔，並他的家與國，必從耶和華那裏得平安，直到永遠。」

他們聽見這話，就從老到少，一個一個地都出去了，只剩下耶穌一人，還有那婦人仍然站在當中。

將來民如何，祭司也必如何；我必因他們所行的懲罰他們，照他們所做的報應他們。

我們的心若責備我們，神比我們的心大，一切事沒有不知道的。

這是顯出律法的功用刻在他們心裏，他們是非之心同作見證，並且他們的思念互相較量，或以為是，或以為非。）

惡人必被自己的罪孽捉住；他必被自己的罪惡如繩索纏繞。
