So Solomon removed Abiathar from the priesthood of the Lord, fulfilling the word the Lord had spoken at Shiloh about the house of Eli.

So Solomon wouldn’t let Abiathar serve as a priest of the Lord anymore. That’s how the message the Lord had spoken at Shiloh came true. He had spoken it about the family of Eli.

So Solomon expelled Abiathar from being priest to the Lord, thus fulfilling the word of the Lord that he had spoken concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.

So Solomon deposed Abiathar from his position as priest of the Lord, thereby fulfilling the prophecy the Lord had given at Shiloh concerning the descendants of Eli.

有神人來見以利、謂之曰、主如是云、爾祖之家在伊及、在法老室為役之時、我向之顯現、在以色列眾支派中、選爾祖為我之祭司、於我祭臺上獻祭焚香、於我祭臺上獻祭焚香原文作上我祭臺焚香衣以弗得於我前、以以色列人所獻之祭、祭原文作火祭賜爾祖之家、我所命獻於聖所之祭祀禮物、爾何褻慢褻慢原文作踐踏乎、何重爾子而不尊我、敢取我民以色列人所獻之美物以肥己乎、因此主以色列之天主云、我曾有言、爾之家與爾祖之家、必永在我前供祭司之職、必永在我前供祭司之職原文作永行於我前今我言、斷乎不然、凡尊重我者、我必使之得尊重、藐視我者必致愧怍、必致愧作或作必被藐視日將至、我必折爾臂、與爾父家之臂、使爾家中無一老者、在主降福於以色列人時、有他人為祭司在聖所、爾必怒目視其為敵、在爾家中永無老者、然爾家之人、我不盡絕於我祭臺、或作爾家中惟有一人我不絕之於我祭臺俾其俾其原文作俾爾目倦心傷、爾家之人、多半死於壯年、或作爾家中所育必壯年夭死爾之二子何弗尼、非尼哈、所遇之事、可以為證、二人必同日而亡、我將為己立一忠心之祭司、彼必循我心意而行、我為彼建立鞏固之家、必將永行於我所立受膏者前、爾家之所遺、必至其前而叩拜、乞一金一餅、曰、求爾分任我一祭司之職、使我得餅少許以食、

以色列會眾集於示羅、以會幕立於彼、斯地皆為其所服、服或作獲

我指以利家所言者、其時必向以利應驗、自始至終、以利知其子行惡、行惡或作褻瀆天主而不之禁、我曾告之、必因其此罪、永罰其家、我又為以利家誓之、以利家之罪、雖獻祭品禮物、永不得赦、赦或作贖

此後耶穌知諸事已成、為使經所載得應、乃曰、我渴、

為應先知以賽亞之言云、主、我所傳聞、誰信乎、主所顯之大力、誰見乎、

廢棄示羅之帷幕、即天主在人間所設之居所、

昔示羅有我殿、我使我名在彼、因我民以色列作惡、我廢棄矣、爾可往觀、主曰、爾今作此諸事、我屢屢原文作每晨警教爾、爾不聽、召爾、爾不應、故我必廢棄斯殿、為我名而建者、即爾所恃者、亦必廢棄我所賜爾與爾列祖之處、如昔我在示羅所行者然、

但此事得成、為應諸先知書所載、時諸門徒皆離之而奔、○

斯事得成、為應經所載云、其骨不折、又載云、人將觀其所刺者、○

兵卒相語曰、毋裂之、可為之鬮、以觀誰得、是為應經所載云、彼分我外服、為我裏衣而鬮、兵卒所為者果如是也、
