『我現在要走全地上人必走的路了；你要剛強，作大丈夫，

我今將行舉世必行之路、當強乃志、為大丈夫、

我將逝世、無異凡民、強乃志、為豪傑、

我今將行世人所必行之路、爾當奮勉奮勉或作強爾心為豪傑、

“ I am about to go the way of all the earth,” he said.“ So be strong, act like a man,

你當剛強壯膽！因為你必使這百姓承受那地為業，就是我向他們列祖起誓應許賜給他們的地。只要剛強，大大壯膽，謹守遵行我僕人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏離左右，使你無論往哪裏去，都可以順利。

「我現在要走世人必走的路。你們是一心一意地知道，耶和華－你們神所應許賜福與你們的話沒有一句落空，都應驗在你們身上了。

我還有末了的話：你們要靠着主，倚賴他的大能大力作剛強的人。

耶和華囑咐嫩的兒子約書亞說：「你當剛強壯膽，因為你必領以色列人進我所起誓應許他們的地；我必與你同在。」

你們務要警醒，在真道上站立得穩，要作大丈夫，要剛強。

這些事都已聽見了，總意就是：敬畏神，謹守他的誡命，這是人所當盡的本分。

按着定命，人人都有一死，死後且有審判。

我兒啊，你要在基督耶穌的恩典上剛強起來。

不可叫人小看你年輕，總要在言語、行為、愛心、信心、清潔上，都作信徒的榜樣。

我知道要使我臨到死地，到那為眾生所定的陰宅。

耶和華－我的神啊，如今你使僕人接續我父親大衛作王；但我是幼童，不知道應當怎樣出入。

我們都當剛強，為本國的民和神的城邑作大丈夫。願耶和華憑他的意旨而行！」

大衛又對他兒子所羅門說：「你當剛強壯膽去行！不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。因為耶和華神就是我的神，與你同在；他必不撇下你，也不丟棄你，直到耶和華殿的工作都完畢了。

存在他那裏，要平生誦讀，好學習敬畏耶和華－他的神，謹守遵行這律法書上的一切言語和這些律例，免得他向弟兄心高氣傲，偏左偏右，離了這誡命。這樣，他和他的子孫便可在以色列中，在國位上年長日久。」

誰能常活免死、救他的靈魂脫離陰間的權柄呢？（細拉）

你們當剛強壯膽，不要害怕，也不要畏懼他們，因為耶和華－你的神和你同去。他必不撇下你，也不丟棄你。」摩西召了約書亞來，在以色列眾人眼前對他說：「你當剛強壯膽！因為，你要和這百姓一同進入耶和華向他們列祖起誓應許所賜之地；你也要使他們承受那地為業。

因為再過幾年，我必走那往而不返之路。
