There he went into a cave and spent the night. And the word of the Lord came to him:“ What are you doing here, Elijah?”

以利亚听见后，就用外袍蒙着脸出去站在洞口。那声音问他：“以利亚，你在这里做什么？”

便问她：“撒莱的婢女夏甲，你从哪里来？要到哪里去？”她回答说：“我是从女主人撒莱那里逃出来的。”

现在，你去埃及喝尼罗河的水有什么用呢？你去亚述喝幼发拉底河的水有什么用呢？

耶和华上帝呼唤那人说：“你在哪里？”

可是，约拿却起身逃往他施，想躲避耶和华。他到了约帕港，看见一艘要开往他施的船，就付了船费，上了船，想和众人一起去他施，好躲避耶和华。然而，耶和华使海面起了狂风，滔天巨浪几乎把船打成碎片。

你要站在我旁边的磐石上，我的荣耀经过你面前的时候，我会先把你安置在石缝里，用我的手遮掩你，直到我从你面前走过。

真希望我在旷野有栖身之处，以便远离我的同胞，因为他们是一群不忠不贞之徒。

在旷野、群山、山洞和地穴中漂流不定。他们是世界不配有的！
