Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said,“ Get up and eat.”

Then he lay down under the bush. And he fell asleep. Suddenly an angel touched him. The angel said,“ Get up and eat.”

Then he lay down and slept under the broom tree. But as he was sleeping, an angel touched him and told him,“ Get up and eat!”

He stretched out and fell asleep under the shrub. All of a sudden an angelic messenger touched him and said,“ Get up and eat.”

And he came to a certain place and stayed there that night, because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place to sleep.And he dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it!And behold, the Lord stood above it and said,“ I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.Your offspring shall be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south, and in you and your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

He said,“ Behold, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of the indignation, for it refers to the appointed time of the end.

The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, came to me in swift flight at the time of the evening sacrifice.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said,“ I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Then I heard the sound of his words, and as I heard the sound of his words, I fell on my face in deep sleep with my face to the ground.And behold, a hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying,“ Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands.
