So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who[ was] plowing[ with] twelve yoke[ of oxen] before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.

So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him.

Elijah left Mount Horeb. He saw Elisha, the son of Shaphat. Elisha was plowing in a field. He was driving the last of 12 pairs of oxen. Elijah went up to him. He threw his coat around him.

So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen in front of him, and he was with the twelfth. Elijah passed by him and cast his cloak upon him.

So Elijah went and found Elisha son of Shaphat plowing a field. There were twelve teams of oxen in the field, and Elisha was plowing with the twelfth team. Elijah went over to him and threw his cloak across his shoulders and then walked away.

And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped[ it] together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

And he said unto her, What form[ is] he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he[ is] covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it[ was] Samuel, and he stooped with[ his] face to the ground, and bowed himself.

He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where[ is] the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I[ was] no prophet, neither[ was] I a prophet’s son; but I[ was] an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which[ was] in Ophrah, that[ pertained] unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide[ it] from the Midianites.

And it was[ so], when Elijah heard[ it], that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold,[ there came] a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

But he shall say, I[ am] no prophet, I[ am] an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
