Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.

The fire of the Lord came down. It burned up the sacrifice. It burned up the wood and the stones and the soil. It even dried up the water in the ditch.

有火从耶和华面前出来，焚烧了坛上的燔祭和脂肪；全体百姓一看见，就都欢呼，脸伏于地。

所罗门祈祷完毕，就有火从天降下来，烧尽燔祭和祭物。耶和华的荣光充满了殿；

大卫在那里为耶和华筑了一座坛，献燔祭和平安祭，求告耶和华。耶和华就应允他，使火从天降在燔祭坛上。

他还说话的时候，又有人来说：“神从天上降下火来，把羊群和仆人都吞灭了；惟有我一人逃脱，来报信给你。”

耶和华的使者伸出手里的杖，杖头一碰到肉和无酵饼，就有火从磐石中出来，吞灭了肉和无酵饼。耶和华的使者就从他眼前消失了。

日落天黑的时候，看哪，有冒烟的炉和烧着的火把从那些肉块中经过。

以利亚回答他们说：“我若是神人，愿火从天上降下来，吞灭你和你的五十个人！”于是神的火从天上降下来，吞灭五十夫长和他的五十个人。

有火从耶和华面前出来，把他们吞灭，他们就死在耶和华面前。

你们求告你们神明的名，我也求告耶和华的名。那应允祷告降火的就是神。”众百姓回答说：“好主意。”

它的磐石必因惊吓而消失，它的领袖必因大旗惊惶；这是那有火在锡安、有炉在耶路撒冷的耶和华说的。
