參孫非常口渴，就呼求耶和華說：“你既然藉著你僕人的手施行這麼大的拯救，現在我怎可以渴死，落在未受割禮的人手中呢？”於是神在利希使一窪地裂開，就有水從那裡湧出來；參孫喝了，就恢復精神，活力充足；因此那泉名叫隱．哈歌利（“隱．哈歌利”意即“呼求者之泉”），那泉直到今日還在利希。

你要倚靠耶和華，並要行善；你要住在地上，以信實為糧食。

耶穌又對他們說：“從前我差你們出去，沒有帶錢囊、口袋、鞋子，你們缺乏甚麼沒有？”他們說：“沒有。”

於是吩咐群眾坐在草地上，拿起那五個餅兩條魚，望著天，祝謝了；然後把餅擘開，遞給門徒，門徒又分給群眾。大家都吃了，並且吃飽了，他們把剩下的零碎拾起來，裝滿了十二個籃子。吃的人，除了婦女和孩子，約有五千。

你們為人不要貪愛錢財，要以現在所有的為滿足；因為神親自說過：“我決不撇下你，也不離棄你。”所以我們可以放膽說：“主是我的幫助，我決不害怕，人能把我怎麼樣呢？”

無花果樹縱不發芽，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹無所出，田裡無收成，圈內的羊被剪除，棚裡也沒有牛，我卻要因耶和華歡喜，以救我的神為樂。

在患難的時候，他們必不蒙羞；在饑荒的日子，他們必得飽足。

這兩件事是不能更改的，因為神是決不說謊的。因此，我們這些逃進避難所的人，就大得安慰，抓緊那擺在我們面前的盼望。

以色列人吃嗎哪共四十年，直到進了有人居住的地方為止；他們吃嗎哪，直到進入迦南地的邊界為止。

這樣的人必居住在高處，他的保障必在堅固的磐石上，他的糧食必有供應，他的水源永不斷絕。

所以不要憂慮，說：‘我們該吃甚麼？喝甚麼？穿甚麼？’這些都是教外人所尋求的，你們的天父原知道你們需要這一切。你們要先求他的國和他的義，這一切都必加給你們。

耶和華對摩西說：“耶和華的手臂縮短了嗎？現在你要看看我的話對你應驗不應驗。”

我現在解開你手上的鐵鍊。你若認為與我一同到巴比倫去好，就一起去，我必好好照顧你；你若認為與我一同到巴比倫去不好，就不必去。看，全地都在你面前，你認為去哪裡好、哪裡合宜，就到哪裡去吧！”

於是西底家王下令，把耶利米拘留在衛兵的院子裡；他們每天從餅鋪街拿一個餅給他，直到城裡的餅都吃光了。耶利米就這樣留在衛兵的院子裡。

參孫對他們說：“可吃的從吃者出來；甜的從強者出來。”他們過了三日都不能說出謎語的意思。

耶和華的聖民哪！你們要敬畏他，因為敬畏他的一無所缺。少壯獅子有時還缺食挨餓，但尋求耶和華的，甚麼好處都不缺。

他在曠野使磐石裂開，給他們水喝，多如深淵的水。他使水從磐石中湧出來，使水好像江河一般流下。

然而，他吩咐天上的雲彩，打開天上的門戶。他降嗎哪給他們吃，把天上的食物賜給他們。

耶穌看著他們說：“在人這是不能的，在神卻凡事都能。”
