Then the woman told Elijah,“ Now I know for sure that you are a man of God, and that the Lord truly speaks through you.”

婦人對以利亞說：『現在我才知道你真是個神人，而永恆主的話又真地由你口中說出。』

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord from your mouth is the truth.”

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God. I know that the message you have brought from the Lord is true.”

And the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.”

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know you are a man of God and the LORD’s word from your mouth is true.”

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.”

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is the truth.”

And the woman said to Elijah, Now I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of Jehovah in thy mouth is truth.

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know you are a man of God and the Lord’s word from your mouth is true.”

And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou[ art] a man of God,[ and] that the word of the LORD in thy mouth[ is] truth.

The woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a prophet and that the LORD really does speak through you.”

The woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God, and that Yahweh’s word in your mouth is truth.”

After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus.“ Rabbi,” he said,“ we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”

Now we understand that you know everything, and there’s no need to question you. From this we believe that you came from God.”

This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

If I hadn’t done such miraculous signs among them that no one else could do, they would not be guilty. But as it is, they have seen everything I did, yet they still hate me and my Father.

The Teacher sought to find just the right words to express truths clearly.

And for your sakes, I’m glad I wasn’t there, for now you will really believe. Come, let’s go see him.”

Then they said to the woman,“ Now we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard him ourselves. Now we know that he is indeed the Savior of the world.”At the end of the two days, Jesus went on to Galilee.He himself had said that a prophet is not honored in his own hometown.Yet the Galileans welcomed him, for they had been in Jerusalem at the Passover celebration and had seen everything he did there.As he traveled through Galilee, he came to Cana, where he had turned the water into wine. There was a government official in nearby Capernaum whose son was very sick.When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went and begged Jesus to come to Capernaum to heal his son, who was about to die.Jesus asked,“ Will you never believe in me unless you see miraculous signs and wonders?”

Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn’t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God— which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe.

You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.”
