Asa then took all the silver and gold that was left in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and of his own palace. He entrusted it to his officials and sent them to Ben-Hadad son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, the king of Aram, who was ruling in Damascus.

Asa took all the silver and gold left among the treasures of the Lord’ s temple and his own palace. He put his officials in charge of it. He sent the officials to Ben- Hadad. Ben- Hadad was king of Aram. He was ruling in Damascus. He was the son of Tabrimmon and the grandson of Hezion.

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house and gave them into the hands of his servants. And King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who lived in Damascus, saying,

Asa responded by removing all the silver and gold that was left in the treasuries of the Temple of the Lord and the royal palace. He sent it with some of his officials to Ben hadad son of Tabrimmon, son of Hezion, the king of Aram, who was ruling in Damascus, along with this message:

So Asa withdrew all the silver and gold that remained in the treasuries of the LORD’s temple and the treasuries of the royal palace and gave it to his servants. Then King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad son of Tabrimmon son of Hezion king of Aram who lived in Damascus, saying,

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that was left in the treasuries of the house of the Lord and the treasuries of the king’s house, and handed it over to his servants. And King Asa sent them to Ben hadad the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Aram, who lived in Damascus, saying,

So Asa withdrew all the silver and gold that remained in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and the treasuries of the royal palace and put it into the hands of his servants. Then King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad son of Tabrimmon son of Hezion king of Aram who lived in Damascus, saying,

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold[ that were] left in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

Asa took all the silver and gold that was left in the treasuries of the LORD’s temple and of the royal palace and handed it to his servants. He then told them to deliver it to Ben Hadad son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, ruler in Damascus, along with this message:

Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that was left in the treasures of Yahweh’s house, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered it into the hand of his servants. Then King Asa sent them to Ben Hadad, the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who lived at Damascus, saying,

掠耶和華室及王宮之寶物、悉攜之去、又掠所羅門所製之金干、

猶大王約阿施、以其祖父猶大王約沙法、約蘭、亞哈謝、所區別之物、與己所獻為聖之物、及耶和華室與王宮府庫、所有之金、悉饋亞蘭王哈薛、哈薛乃去耶路撒冷、

上帝又興一敵、以利亞大子利遜、以攻所羅門、昔利遜逃其主、瑣巴王哈大底謝、大衛殺瑣巴人時、利遜集人成羣、而為其首、往居大馬色、在彼為王、

以父所獻、及己所獻之金銀與器皿、進於耶和華室、

乘夜分隊進攻、追至大馬色北之何把、

亞蘭王便哈達集其全軍、有三十二王偕之、統率車騎、上圍撒瑪利亞、攻之、遣使入城、見以色列王亞哈曰、便哈達云、爾之金銀屬我、爾妻孥之佳者亦屬我、以色列王曰、我主我王歟、我與所有、咸屬於爾、如爾所言、使者復至、曰、便哈達云、我已遣人曰、必以爾之金銀妻孥、悉付於我、

其人諦聽其言、迅即乘機而應曰、便哈達爾兄弟也、曰、往攜之至、便哈達遂出見王、王令登車、便哈達曰、昔我先人所奪爾父之邑、我必反爾、我先人在撒瑪利亞為市、今爾在大馬色亦可為市、亞哈曰、有此盟約、可釋爾歸、於是立約、而使之歸、○

我必使火入於哈薛家、燬便哈達之宮室、

亞撒取耶和華室及王宮府庫之金銀、饋於居大馬色之亞蘭王便哈達曰、爾我有約、如昔爾父與我父然、今我饋爾金銀、請廢爾與以色列王巴沙之約、使之去我、便哈達從亞撒王之言、遣其軍長、攻以色列之邑、乃擊以雲、但、亞伯瑪音、及拿弗他利府庫之邑、巴沙聞之、遂不建拉瑪、止其工作、亞撒王率猶大眾、取巴沙建拉瑪之木石、以建迦巴與米斯巴、

我必燃火於大馬色城垣、焚便哈達宮室、○

以利沙至大馬色、亞蘭王便哈達遘疾、或告之曰、上帝僕至此、王命哈薛曰、爾攜禮物、往迎上帝僕、託之詢於耶和華、我病得愈否、哈薛遂往迎之、以四十駝、負大馬色各種佳品、以為禮物、既至、立於其前曰、爾子亞蘭王便哈達、遣我詣爾曰、我病得愈否、以利沙曰、汝往告之曰、爾必愈、然耶和華曾示我彼必死、遂注視哈薛、致其愧怍、上帝僕乃哭、哈薛曰、我主何為而哭、曰、我知爾於以色列人將行之惡、以火燬其堅城、以刃殺其丁壯、擲斃其嬰孩、刳剔其孕婦、哈薛曰、僕何人斯、乃一犬耳、焉能行此大事、以利沙曰、耶和華已示我、爾必為亞蘭王、哈薛別以利沙、返見其主、其主問曰、以利沙與爾何言、曰、言爾必愈、翌日、哈薛以裯濡水、覆其面、致之死、哈薛遂繼其位、○
