Then he went out and found the body lying on the road, with the donkey and the lion standing beside it. The lion had neither eaten the body nor mauled the donkey.

于是，二人过来把尸体连袍子一起抬到营外，是照摩西所吩咐的。

你要喝那溪里的水，我已吩咐乌鸦在那里供养你。”

那些总督、钦差、省长和王的谋士一同聚集来看这三个人，见火不能伤他们的身体，头发没有烧焦，衣裳也没有变色，都没有火烧过的气味。尼布甲尼撒说：“沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的上帝是应当称颂的！他差遣使者救护倚靠他的仆人，他们不遵王的命令，甚至舍身，在他们上帝以外不肯事奉敬拜别神。

我的上帝差遣使者封住狮子的口，叫狮子不伤我，因我在上帝面前无辜。王啊，在你面前我也没有做过任何亏损的事。”王因此就甚喜乐，吩咐把但以理从坑里拉上来。于是但以理从坑里被拉上来，身上毫无损伤，因为他信靠他的上帝。王下令，把那些控告但以理的人和他们的妻子儿女都带来，扔在狮子坑中。他们还没有到坑底，狮子就制伏他们，咬碎他们的骨头。

忽然，地大震动，甚至监牢的地基都摇动了，监门立刻全开，众囚犯的锁链也都解开了。

有火从耶和华面前出来，把他们吞灭，他们就死在耶和华面前。

乌鸦早上给他叼饼和肉来，晚上也有饼和肉，他又喝溪里的水。

因为王的命令紧急，窑又非常热，那抬沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的人都被火焰烧死。

你们哪，都当赞美耶和华：地上一切所有的，大鱼和深洋，火和冰雹，雪和雾气，成就他命令的狂风，

你们难道不惧怕我吗？在我面前还不战兢吗？这是耶和华说的。我以沙为海的界限，作永远的条例，使它不得越过。波浪汹涌，却不能胜过；怒涛澎湃，仍无法越过。但这百姓有背叛忤逆的心，他们转离而去。

他们藉着信，制伏了敌国，行了公义，得了应许，堵住了狮子的口，灭了烈火的威力，在锋利的刀剑下逃生，从软弱变为刚强，争战中显出勇猛，打退外邦的全军。

说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过；你狂傲的浪要到此止住。’
