Then he went out and found the body lying on the road, with the donkey and the lion standing beside it. The lion had neither eaten the body nor mauled the donkey.

于是二人上前来，把他们穿着袍子抬到营外，是照摩西所吩咐的。

你要喝那溪里的水，我已吩咐乌鸦在那里供养你。”

那些总督、钦差、巡抚，和王的谋士一同聚集看这三个人，见火无力伤他们的身体，头发也没有烧焦，衣裳也没有变色，并没有火燎的气味。尼布甲尼撒说：“沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的神是应当称颂的！他差遣使者救护倚靠他的仆人，他们不遵王命，舍去己身，在他们神以外不肯侍奉敬拜别神。

我的神差遣使者，封住狮子的口，叫狮子不伤我；因我在神面前无辜，我在王面前也没有行过亏损的事。”王就甚喜乐，吩咐人将但以理从坑里系上来。于是但以理从坑里被系上来，身上毫无伤损，因为信靠他的神。王下令，人就把那些控告但以理的人，连他们的妻子儿女都带来，扔在狮子坑中。他们还没有到坑底，狮子就抓住他们，咬碎他们的骨头。

忽然，地大震动，甚至监牢的地基都摇动了，监门立刻全开，众囚犯的锁链也都松开了。

就有火从耶和华面前出来，把他们烧灭，他们就死在耶和华面前。

乌鸦早晚给他叼饼和肉来，他也喝那溪里的水。

因为王命紧急，窑又甚热，那抬沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌的人都被火焰烧死。

所有在地上的，大鱼和一切深洋，火与冰雹，雪和雾气，成就他命的狂风，

耶和华说：你们怎么不惧怕我呢？我以永远的定例，用沙为海的界限，水不得越过。因此，你们在我面前还不战兢吗？波浪虽然翻腾，却不能逾越；虽然砰訇，却不能过去。但这百姓有背叛忤逆的心；他们叛我而去，

他们因着信，制伏了敌国，行了公义，得了应许，堵了狮子的口，灭了烈火的猛势，脱了刀剑的锋刃；软弱变为刚强，争战显出勇敢，打退外邦的全军。

说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过；你狂傲的浪要到此止住。’
