曰、治理爾之王必如是、將取爾子使為之御車、充其馬卒、奔走於車前、使為千夫長、五十夫長、使為之耕田畝、刈禾稼、造戰具、製車器、取爾女使為製膏者、司膳者、炙餅者、取爾田畝葡萄園油果園之佳者、予其臣僕、爾播種所產、及爾葡萄園所出、什取其一、供其宦官及其群僕、取爾奴婢、健壯之少者、及爾之驢、以供其役、爾之羊群、什取其一、而爾曹將為其僕、斯時也、爾必因所選之王而呼籲主、惟主不俯聽爾、

所羅門於以色列遍地、立官十二、使為王及王之家備食物、一歲中一人備一月、

所羅門徵夫役以建主之殿宇、與己之宮室、以及米羅保障、耶路撒冷城垣、夏瑣城、米吉多城、基色城、

爾父使我負重軛、服役艱苦、今爾輕之、我則役事爾、曰、三日後復來見我、民乃去、

我心溫良謙遜、爾負我軛而學我、則爾心必獲安、蓋我軛易、我負輕也、

以難負之重任、縛而置人肩上、己則一指不肯動、

猶大人及以色列人、多如海濱之沙、不可勝數、皆飲食宴樂、○所羅門統轄諸國、自伯拉河至非利士地、直至伊及界、所羅門在世之日、此諸國皆納貢服事之、所羅門宮中食用、每日細麵三十歌珥、約一千八百斗粗麵六十歌珥、約三千六百斗肥牛十、牧場之牛二十、羊一百、其外有鹿、獐、麋、肥禽、所羅門轄河西全地、自提弗薩至迦薩、河西列王皆為其所轄、四周之屬國順服、皆享太平、所羅門在世時、猶大人與以色列人、自但至別是巴、安然而居、各在己之葡萄樹下、無花果樹下、

惟以色列人、所羅門不使為夫役、乃使為其戰士、臣僕、牧伯、將帥、車卒長、馬卒長、所羅門有司工長五百五十人、監督民作工、
