We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.

We know that those who are children of God do not keep on sinning. The Son of God keeps them safe. The evil one can’t harm them.

I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Your word.

having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.

We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Concerning the works of men, By the word of Your lips, I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer.

“ I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him,“ Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”Jesus answered and said to him,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”Nicodemus said to Him,“ How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”Jesus answered,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
