吾人苟能涵養愛德、使臻於圓融純熟之境、則吾人對於審判之日、可以泰然無憂矣。何則、吾人在世克肖天主具體而微也。

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

你們要記得我對你們說過的話：『僕人不大於主人。』他們若迫害了我，也會迫害你們，他們若遵守了我的話，也會遵守你們的話。

倒要歡喜，因為你們是與基督一同受苦，使你們在他榮耀顯現的時候也可以歡喜快樂。你們若為基督的名受辱罵是有福的，因為榮耀的靈，就是上帝的靈，在你們身上。

可見信心是與他的行為相輔並行，而且信心是因着行為才得以成全的。

我實在告訴你們，在審判的日子，所多瑪和蛾摩拉地方所受的，比那城還容易受呢！」

但我告訴你們，在審判的日子，推羅和西頓所受的，比你們還容易受呢！

仰望我們信心的創始成終者耶穌，他因那擺在前面的喜樂，輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，如今已坐在上帝寶座的右邊。你們要仔細想想這位忍受了罪人如此頂撞的耶穌，你們就不致心灰意懶了。

但現在的天地還是憑着上帝的話存留，直留到不敬虔之人受審判遭沉淪的日子，用火焚燒。
