吾人苟能涵養愛德、使臻於圓融純熟之境、則吾人對於審判之日、可以泰然無憂矣。何則、吾人在世克肖天主具體而微也。

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

Suppose love is fulfilled among us. Then we can be without fear on the day God judges the world. Love is fulfilled among us when in this world we are like Jesus.

從這一點我們就會知道我們屬於真理。就算我們的心責備自己，我們在神面前也可以安心，因為神比我們的心更大，並且他知道一切。各位蒙愛的人哪，如果我們的心不責備我們，我們在神面前就可以坦然無懼，

你們當記住我對你們說過的話：「沒有一個奴僕大過他的主人。」他們既然逼迫了我，也會逼迫你們；如果他們遵守了我的話，也就會遵守你們的話。

相反，你們既然在基督的苦難上有份，就應該照此歡喜，好使你們在他榮耀顯現的時候，也可以歡喜、快樂。你們如果因基督的名受責罵，就是蒙福的，因為榮耀的靈，就是神的靈，住在你們身上。

你看，信仰和他的行為相輔相成，而且信仰是本於行為得以完全的。

我確實地告訴你們：在那審判的日子，所多瑪和格摩拉之地所受的，將要比那城還容易受呢！

不過我告訴你們：在那審判的日子，提爾和西頓所受的，將要比你們還容易受呢！

仰望信仰的創始者和成終者耶穌。他為了那擺在他前面的喜樂，就輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架，如今坐在神寶座的右邊。其實，你們應當仔細地思想耶穌如何忍受了罪人的頂撞，這樣你們心裡就不會因喪氣而疲倦。

但現在的天和地，藉著他的話語得以存留，一直留到不敬神的人受審判和滅亡的日子，被火焚燒。
