不可报仇，也不可埋怨你本国的子民，却要爱人如己。我是耶和华。

耶稣回答说：“第一要紧的，就是说：‘以色列啊，你要听，主我们神是独一的主。你要尽心、尽性、尽意、尽力爱主你的神。’其次就是说：‘要爱人如己。’再没有比这两条诫命更大的了。”那文士对耶稣说：“夫子说，神是一位，实在不错；除了他以外，再没有别的神；并且尽心、尽智、尽力爱他，又爱人如己，就比一切燔祭和各样祭祀好的多。”耶稣见他回答的有智慧，就对他说：“你离神的国不远了。”从此以后，没有人敢再问他什么。

耶稣对他说：“你要尽心、尽性、尽意，爱主你的神。这是诫命中的第一，且是最大的。其次也相仿，就是要爱人如己。这两条诫命是律法和先知一切道理的总纲。”

弟兄们，你们蒙召是要得自由，只是不可将你们的自由当作放纵情欲的机会，总要用爱心互相服侍。因为全律法都包在“爱人如己”这一句话之内了。

你要尽心、尽性、尽力爱耶和华你的神。

经上记着说：“要爱人如己。”你们若全守这至尊的律法才是好的。但你们若按外貌待人，便是犯罪，被律法定为犯法的。因为凡遵守全律法的，只在一条上跌倒，他就是犯了众条。原来那说“不可奸淫”的，也说“不可杀人”；你就是不奸淫，却杀人，仍是成了犯律法的。你们既然要按使人自由的律法受审判，就该照这律法说话行事。

他们就把他带到亚略巴古，说：“你所讲的这新道，我们也可以知道吗？
