不可报复，也不可向你的族人怀恨，却要爱你的邻舍好像爱自己；我是耶和华。

耶稣回答：“第一重要的是：‘以色列啊，你要听！主我们的神是独一的主。你要全心、全性、全意、全力，爱主你的神。’其次是：‘要爱人如己。’再没有别的诫命比这两条更重要的了。”那经学家对耶稣说：“老师，是的，你说的很对，神是独一的，除了他以外再没有别的神。我们要用全心、全意、全力去爱他，并且要爱人如己，这就比一切燔祭和各样祭物好得多了。”耶稣见他回答得有智慧，就对他说：“你距离神的国不远了。”从此再也没有人敢问他了。

他回答：“你要全心、全性、全意爱主你的神。这是最重要的第一条诫命。第二条也和它相似，就是要爱人如己。全部律法和先知书，都以这两条诫命作为根据。”

弟兄们，你们蒙召得了自由；只是不可把这自由当作放纵情欲的机会，总要凭着爱心互相服事。因为全部的律法，都在“爱人如己”这一句话里面成全了。

你要全心、全性、全力爱耶和华你的神。

你们若照着圣经所说“要爱人如己”这话，去完成这至尊的律法，你们就作对了。如果你们凭外貌待人，就是犯罪，律法就要裁定你们是犯法的。因为凡是遵守全部律法的，只要在一条上失足，就违犯所有的了。就像那说“不可奸淫”的，也说“不可杀人”；你纵然不奸淫，却杀人，还是犯法的。你们既然按着使人自由的律法受审判，就应照着这律法说话行事。

他们拉着保罗，把他带到亚略．巴古那里，说：“你所讲的这个新道理，我们可以知道吗？
