連我信任的密友，就是那吃我飯的，也用腳踢我。

然而他們不能再這樣下去了，因為他們的愚昧終必在眾人面前顯露出來，好像那兩個人一樣。

就是照著父神的預知蒙揀選，藉著聖靈得成聖潔，因而順服，並且被耶穌基督的血灑過的人。願恩惠平安多多地加給你們。我們主耶穌基督的父神是應當稱頌的。他照著自己的大憐憫，藉著耶穌基督從死人中復活，重生了我們，使我們有永活的盼望，可以得著不能朽壞、不能玷污、不能衰殘，為你們存留在天上的基業，就是你們這因信蒙神能力保守的人，得著預備在末世要顯現的救恩。

那撒在石地上的，就是人聽了道，立刻歡歡喜喜地接受，可是他裡面沒有根，只是暫時的；一旦為道遭遇患難，受到迫害，就立刻跌倒了。

所有屬我而不結果子的枝子，他就剪去；所有結果子的，他就修剪乾淨，讓它結更多的果子。

因為必有假基督和假先知出現，顯大神蹟和奇事；如果可以的話，他們連選民也要迷惑。

因此，現在也是這樣，按著恩典的揀選，還有剩下的餘數。既然是靠著恩典，就不再是由於行為了；不然的話，恩典就不再是恩典了。

凡是父賜給我的人，必到我這裡來；到我這裡來的，我決不丟棄他，因為我從天上降下來，不是要行自己的意思，而是要行那差我來者的旨意。那差我來者的旨意就是：他所賜給我的人，我連一個也不失落，並且在末日我要使他們復活。

我們聽說有人從我們這裡出去，說了一些話攪擾你們，使你們心裡不安，其實我們並沒有吩咐他們。

耶穌基督的僕人，雅各的兄弟猶大，寫信給那些被召的人，就是在父神裡蒙愛，並且為了耶穌基督而蒙保守的人。

如果他們因為認識我們的主、救主耶穌基督，可以脫離世上的污穢，後來又在其中被纏住、受制伏，他們末了的景況，就比先前的更不好了。既然認識了義路，竟又背棄傳給他們的聖誡命，對他們來說，倒不如不認識好得多了。

但我們不是那些後退以致滅亡的人，而是有信心以致保全生命的人。
