任何灵若不承认耶稣，就不是从上帝来的，而是敌基督者的灵。以前你们听说敌基督者要来，现在他已经在世上了。

因为假基督和假先知将出现，行很大的神迹奇事来迷惑人，如果可能，甚至要迷惑上帝拣选的子民。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，不要什么灵都信，总要试验那些灵是否出于上帝，因为世上已经出现了许多假先知！

你要知道，末世必有艰难的日子，因为那时的人都自私自利、贪爱钱财、狂妄自夸、骄傲自负、说毁谤话、违背父母、忘恩负义、心不圣洁、冷漠无情、不愿和解、好说谗言、毫无节制、蛮横凶暴、不爱良善、出卖朋友、任意妄为、自高自大、沉溺享乐、不爱上帝，虚有敬虔的外表，却无敬虔的实质。你要避开这样的人。这些人溜进别人家里，哄骗那些意志薄弱的妇女。那些妇女心中充满罪恶，受各种邪情私欲的驱使，

圣灵明确地说，日后必有人离弃真道，去追随那些迷惑人的邪灵和鬼魔的学说。这些学说是出自假冒伪善的骗子，他们良心丧尽，麻木不仁，禁止人结婚和吃某些食物。其实那些食物是上帝创造的，为了让相信并且明白真理的人存感谢的心领受。

因为有一天，人们会厌倦纯正的教导，耳朵发痒，寻找许多迎合他们私欲的老师。他们掩耳不听真理，反而偏向无稽之谈。

最重要的是，你们要知道在末世的时候必出现喜欢冷嘲热讽、为所欲为的人。他们说：

将有很多人冒我的名来，说，‘我是基督’，欺骗许多人。

我知道，在我离开以后，一定会有凶恶的豺狼闯进你们中间，残害羊群。就是你们中间也会有人起来歪曲真理，引诱门徒跟随他们。

许多假先知也会出现，迷惑许多人。
