If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.

Suppose we say that we share life with God but still walk in the darkness. Then we are lying. We are not living out the truth.

If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.

If we say,“ We have fellowship with him,” and yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;

If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don’t tell the truth.

If someone says,“ I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:“ I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.”

and one of you says to them,“ Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

Because you say,‘ I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’— and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Many will say to Me in that day,‘ Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You?

He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
