又豈無權攜一奉主之婦人出門傳道、一如其他宗徒、與主之諸弟、以及基法之所為耶？

我豈無權娶女弟為妻、攜之同行、如他使徒、及主之兄弟與磯法乎、

Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?

Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife with us when we travel? The other apostles do. The Lord’s brothers do. Peter does.

Do we not have the right to take along a believing wife, as do the other apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas?

Don’t we have the right to bring a believing wife with us as the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers do, and as Peter does?

Don’t we have the right to be accompanied by a believing wife like the other apostles, the Lord’s brothers, and Cephas?

Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

Have we no right to lead about a wife that is a believer, even as the rest of the apostles, and the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

Don’t we have the right to be accompanied by a Christian wife like the other apostles, the Lord’s brothers, and Cephas?

Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and[ as] the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

Do we not have the right to the company of a believing wife, like the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?

Have we no right to take along a wife who is a believer, even as the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

遂引西門謁耶穌、耶穌注目視之曰：『汝非若納之子西門乎？此後當稱爾為基法。』「基法」者伯鐸祿也。

耶穌至伯鐸祿家、見其岳母病瘧而臥、

依我心意、固願人人能如我也。惟各人所秉賦於天主者、不能盡同；甲長於此、乙長於彼、固不可相提並論也。

諸徒同心一德、堅毅祈禱、尚有婦女數人、及耶穌聖母瑪莉雅與昆弟亦與之偕。

婚姻為聖潔之事、床笫不容沾辱。淫人妻女、必遭天誅。

其他宗徒、自主之表弟雅各伯而外悉未之見。

是故為司牧者、其立身處世務期無疵可摘、平生未重娶、莊敬自持、循規蹈矩、處事有條不紊、待人和藹可親、優遇遠人、循循善誘；

其人選務求品格純粹、無瑕可指、一婦之夫、兒女奉主、無蕩檢不馴之稱。

勸年長婦人如勸母勸青年女子如勸姊妹、思無邪。

彼非梓人乎？又非瑪莉雅之子、雅谷伯若瑟樹德西門之兄弟乎？其姊若妹、非吾人之鄰居乎？』遂鄙而棄之。

耶穌方訓眾、其母與兄弟竚立於外、欲與之語。或報耶穌曰：『汝母及兄弟在外欲與汝語。』耶穌應之曰：『孰為我母、孰為我兄弟？』乃伸手指其諸徒曰：『斯乃我母、我兄弟。蓋凡能遵行我天父之旨者、是即我之兄弟、我之姊妹、與母氏也。』

倘若不信教理之一造欲離則聽之可也。在此情形之下、信男信女實不受拘束蓋天主詔吾人處世當以和平為本、

夫在、為妻者則受法律拘束；夫亡、則可自由再嫁、惟應依天主規律。

試舉一例、爾中或云『我乃葆樂之人、』或云『我乃亞波羅之人、』或云『我乃基法之人、』或云『我乃基督之人。』

女弟斐白、森格理教會之女執事也、

渠非梓人之子乎？厥母非名瑪莉雅乎？厥兄若弟、非雅各伯、若瑟、西門、樹德乎？

厥後、耶穌偕其母及昆弟諸徒、下葛法農、居無何、

亞爾咈子雅谷伯、奮銳黨西門、

會西門之岳母病瘧而臥、諸徒即以告、

禁止嫁娶、戒絕某種食物；夫食物乃天主所造也、亦在具有信德、而身體真道者、感恩受之而已矣。
