他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為也、寧凡事容忍、免阻基督福音、

他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為之、寧忍諸難、恐阻基督福音、

他人尚操此權於爾中、況我儕乎、然我儕未用此權、寧忍一切、免阻基督之福音、

他人尚且對爾享此權利、況吾儕乎？然吾儕向未行使此權、而甘受困乏者、蓋不欲在基督福音道上、置任何之障礙也。

If others have this right of support from you, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.

Others have the right to receive help from you. Don’t we have even more right to do so? But we didn’t use that right. No, we have put up with everything. We didn’t want to keep the good news of Christ from spreading.

If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.

If you support others who preach to you, shouldn’t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ.

If others have this right to receive benefits from you, don’t we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right; instead, we endure everything so that we will not hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others partake of this right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

If others have this right to receive benefits from you, don’t we even more? However, we have not made use of this right; instead we endure everything so that we will not hinder the gospel of Christ.

If others be partakers of[ this] power over you,[ are] not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

既是这样，我的赏赐是什么呢？就是我传福音的时候叫人不花钱得福音，免得用尽我传福音的权柄。

我现在所做的，后来还要做，为要断绝那些寻机会人的机会，使他们在所夸的事上也不过与我们一样。

但这权柄我全没有用过。我写这话，并非要你们这样待我，因为我宁可死也不叫人使我所夸的落了空。

我因为白白传神的福音给你们，就自居卑微，叫你们高升，这算是我犯罪吗？我亏负了别的教会，向他们取了工价来给你们效力。我在你们那里缺乏的时候，并没有累着你们一个人；因我所缺乏的，那从马其顿来的弟兄们都补足了。我向来凡事谨守，后来也必谨守，总不至于累着你们。既有基督的诚实在我里面，就无人能在亚该亚一带地方阻挡我这自夸。

你们律法师有祸了！因为你们把知识的钥匙夺了去，自己不进去，正要进去的人你们也阻挡他们。”

你们彼此告状，这已经是你们的大错了。为什么不情愿受欺呢？为什么不情愿吃亏呢？

大家同谋要来攻击耶路撒冷，使城内扰乱。

直到如今，我们还是又饥又渴，又赤身露体，又挨打，又没有一定的住处，并且劳苦，亲手做工。被人咒骂，我们就祝福；被人逼迫，我们就忍受；

他们本是制造帐棚为业。保罗因与他们同业，就和他们同住做工。

我们凡事都不叫人有妨碍，免得这职分被人毁谤；

我因多次被拦阻，总不得到你们那里去。

仆人说：“耶和华既赐给我通达的道路，你们不要耽误我，请打发我走，回我主人那里去吧。”

假若在别人，我不是使徒，在你们，我总是使徒，因为你们在主里正是我作使徒的印证。

也未尝白吃人的饭，倒是辛苦劳碌，昼夜做工，免得叫你们一人受累。这并不是因我们没有权柄，乃是要给你们作榜样，叫你们效法我们。

所以你们应当警醒，记念我三年之久昼夜不住地流泪、劝戒你们各人。如今我把你们交托神和他恩惠的道；这道能建立你们，叫你们和一切成圣的人同得基业。我未曾贪图一个人的金、银、衣服。我这两只手常供给我和同人的需用，这是你们自己知道的。

我写这话，不是叫你们羞愧，乃是警戒你们，好像我所亲爱的儿女一样。你们学基督的，师傅虽有一万，为父的却是不多，因我在基督耶稣里用福音生了你们。

我们作基督的使徒，虽然可以叫人尊重，却没有向你们或向别人求荣耀；只在你们中间存心温柔，如同母亲乳养自己的孩子。我们既是这样爱你们，不但愿意将神的福音给你们，连自己的性命也愿意给你们，因你们是我们所疼爱的。弟兄们，你们记念我们的辛苦劳碌，昼夜做工，传神的福音给你们，免得叫你们一人受累。

假若有人强你们作奴仆，或侵吞你们，或掳掠你们，或侮慢你们，或打你们的脸，你们都能忍耐他。

除了我不累着你们这一件事，你们还有什么事不及别的教会呢？这不公之处，求你们饶恕我吧。如今，我打算第三次到你们那里去，也必不累着你们；因我所求的是你们，不是你们的财物。儿女不该为父母积财，父母该为儿女积财。
