論及食祭偶像之物、我儕知偶像在世間為虛無、亦知天主獨一無他、

關於祭肉問題、吾人固知偶像皆屬子虛烏有；亦知天主之外更無真神。

So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that“ An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that“ There is no God but one.”

So then, here is what I say about eating food sacrificed to statues of gods. We know that“ a god made by human hands is really nothing at all in the world.” We know that“ there is only one God.”

Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that“ an idol has no real existence,” and that“ there is no God but one.”

So, what about eating meat that has been offered to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God.

About eating food sacrificed to idols, then, we know that“ an idol is nothing in the world,” and that“ there is no God but one.”

Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one.

Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

Concerning therefore the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no God but one.

About eating food offered to idols, then, we know that“ an idol is nothing in the world,” and that“ there is no God but one.”

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol[ is] nothing in the world, and that[ there is] none other God but one.

With regard then to eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that“ an idol in this world is nothing,” and that“ there is no God but one.”

Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

看哪，你們連無有都算不上，你們的作為連虛無也夠不上；那選擇你們的是可憎惡的！

一位神——就是萬有之父，他超越萬有，貫通萬有，在萬有之中。

耶和華以色列的王，以色列的救贖主，萬軍之耶和華如此說：「我是首先的，我也是末後的。除我以外沒有神。

要知道，神只有一位，在神和人之間的中保也只有一位，就是成為人的基督耶穌；

耶穌回答：「最重要的是：『以色列啊，你當聽好！主——我們的神，是獨一的主。

你的救贖主耶和華——從你在母腹中就塑造了你，他如此說：「是我耶和華造了萬物，我獨自展開了諸天，我單獨鋪張了大地；

喊著說：「各位，你們為什麼做這些事呢？我們和你們同樣是人！我們向你們傳福音，是要你們離棄這些虛妄的事，歸向永生的神，就是造了天、地、海和其中萬有的神。

「坐在基路伯之上的萬軍之耶和華，以色列的神哪！唯獨你——你是地上萬國的神，是你造了諸天和大地。

可是你們看見了也聽見了，這個保羅不僅在以弗所也幾乎在全亞細亞省，說服、引誘了一大群人，說『人手所造的不是神』。

那麼，我怎麼說呢？難道說祭過偶像的食物算得了什麼嗎？或說，偶像算得了什麼嗎？不，我是說，外邦人所獻的祭是獻給鬼魔的，不是獻給神的；而我不願意你們成為與鬼魔有份的人。

我是耶和華，別無其二；除我以外沒有神。你雖然不認識我，我卻裝備你；

耶和華如此說：「埃及的辛苦所得、庫實的盈利所得、身材高大的西巴人，都必來到你這裡、歸屬你；他們必戴著鎖鏈來跟隨你，向你下拜，向你承認說：『神真是在你們中間，別無其二，沒有別的神！』」

因為，如果有人看見你這有知識的人在偶像的廟裡坐席，難道不就鼓勵了他軟弱的良心，使他也去吃那祭過偶像的食物嗎？

列國的偶像是銀的、金的，是人手所造的：它們有嘴卻不能說，有眼卻不能看；有耳卻不能聽，有鼻卻不能聞；有手卻不能摸，有腳卻不能走，也不能用喉嚨發出聲音。那些造它們的、所有依靠它們的，都會像它們那樣。

耶和華我們的神哪，現在求你拯救我們脫離亞述王的手，使地上萬國都知道，唯獨你——你是耶和華！」

但對我們來說，只有一位神，就是父，萬有都出於他，我們也歸於他；並且只有一位主，就是耶穌基督，萬有都藉著他而有，我們也藉著他而有。然而，不是所有的人都有這知識。有些人因習慣了偶像，至今還以為所吃的是祭過偶像的食物。他們的良心因為軟弱，就被玷汙了。

關於祭過偶像的食物，我們知道「我們都有知識。」知識使人自我膨脹，但是愛能造就人。

你們不要懼怕，也不要害怕！難道我從前不就告知了你們、向你們宣告了嗎？你們是我的見證人！除我以外，難道還有神嗎？沒有別的磐石！我知道沒有！」塑造偶像的全都虛空，他們所喜愛的毫無益處；為偶像本身作見證的，一無所見，一無所知，他們都必蒙羞。

願榮耀、尊嚴、大能、權柄，藉著我們的主耶穌基督歸於獨一的神我們的救主，從萬古以前到現在，直到永永遠遠！阿們。

願尊貴和榮耀歸於那萬世之王，就是那不朽壞的、不可見的、獨一的神，直到永永遠遠！阿們。
