Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.

緣此我遣提摩太、即我愛子、忠心事主者、就爾、彼必以我事基督之所行、於各處教會如何訓誨悉告爾、使爾記憶、

兄弟乎、人蒙召時、居於何等、當仍守此分於天主之前、○

我藉所蒙之恩、告爾各人、勿高思過於所當、乃以不越分為思、循天主所賜各人信德之量、我儕一身多肢體、而肢體非同一用、我眾於基督內為一身、互相為肢體、亦如是、我儕循所賦我之恩、各受賜不同、或預言、則當循信之量而預言、或役事、當役事、或得為教誨者、當教誨、或勸戒者、當勸戒、其施舍也以誠實、其治理也以殷勤、其矜恤也以歡心、

此外尚有日積我心之事、即為諸教會所慮者也、

人已受割禮而蒙召乎、則勿廢割禮、未受割禮而蒙召乎、則勿受割禮、

人蒙召時、居於何等、當仍守此分、爾為奴而蒙召、勿以為慮、若能得釋更妙、

我亦遣一弟與提多偕往、彼因福音、為諸教會所稱譽者、

蓋天主非使人亂、乃使人和、聖徒諸會皆然、○

蓋有生而閹者、有被人閹者、又有為天國自閹者、此言誰能受則受之、○

我願眾人皆若我然、但人得恩賜於天主、各有不同、一如此、一如彼焉、○

各宜按所受之恩賜、交相供事、如忠信之家宰、司理天主恩賜者、有人講道、當講如天主所默示之語、若供事、當如己賴天主所賜之力、如是、凡事可因耶穌基督歸榮於天主、願榮光權力歸之、至於世世、阿們、○
