But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers!

你们竟是弟兄与弟兄告状，而且告在不信主的人面前。

你们竟然有弟兄去告弟兄，而且告到不信主的人面前。

你们竟然是弟兄告弟兄，而且告到不信的人面前去吗？

而弟兄和弟兄竟相控告，又在不信的人面前啊？

你們竟然弟兄控告弟兄，而且告到了不信的人面前！

乃兄弟相訟、且於不信者前乎、

乃兄弟爭訟且訟於不信者前乎、

乃兄弟與兄弟相訟、且於不信者前歟、

而必欲對簿於外教人之前乎？

But instead, one brother takes another to court— and this in front of unbelievers!

Instead, one believer goes to court against another. And this happens in front of unbelievers!

but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?

But instead, one believer sues another— right in front of unbelievers!

Instead, brother goes to court against brother, and that before unbelievers!

but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?

But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!

but brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?

Instead, believer goes to court against believer, and that before unbelievers!

But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

Instead, does a Christian sue a Christian, and do this before unbelievers?

“ The day following, he appeared to them as they fought, and urged them to be at peace again, saying,‘ Sirs, you are brothers. Why do you wrong one another?’

Do all things without complaining and arguing,that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,

Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them,“ See that you don’t quarrel on the way.”

He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in the darkness even until now.He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?

There was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. The Canaanites and the Perizzites lived in the land at that time.Abram said to Lot,“ Please, let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen; for we are relatives.Isn’t the whole land before you? Please separate yourself from me. If you go to the left hand, then I will go to the right. Or if you go to the right hand, then I will go to the left.”

For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s righteous.Don’t be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn’t love his brother remains in death.Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

I said to them,“ We, after our ability, have redeemed our brothers the Jews that were sold to the nations; and would you even sell your brothers, and should they be sold to us?” Then they held their peace, and found not a word to say.Also I said,“ The thing that you do is not good. Shouldn’t you walk in the fear of our God, because of the reproach of the nations our enemies?

Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!It is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard, that came down on the edge of his robes,like the dew of Hermon, that comes down on the hills of Zion; for there Yahweh gives the blessing, even life forever more.
