Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have begun to reign— and that without us! How I wish that you really had begun to reign so that we also might reign with you!

You already have everything you want, don’t you? Have you already become rich? Have you already begun to rule? And did you do that without us? I wish that you really had begun to rule. Then we could also rule with you!

Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! Without us you have become kings! And would that you did reign, so that we might share the rule with you!

You think you already have everything you need. You think you are already rich. You have begun to reign in God’s kingdom without us! I wish you really were reigning already, for then we would be reigning with you.

You are already full! You are already rich! You have begun to reign as kings without us— and I wish you did reign, so that we could also reign with you!

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.[ Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and[ in] all knowledge;

For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.Peace be within thy walls,[ and] prosperity within thy palaces.For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace[ be] within thee.Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

Woe unto[ them that are] wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think[ of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift[ is like] clouds and wind without rain.

For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish,[ even] your perfection.

For what[ is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?[ Are] not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?For ye are our glory and joy.

There is that maketh himself rich, yet[ hath] nothing:[ there is] that maketh himself poor, yet[ hath] great riches.

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal,[ even] as unto babes in Christ.I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able[ to bear it], neither yet now are ye able.

He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.He hath put down the mighty from[ their] seats, and exalted them of low degree.He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

[ It is] a faithful saying: For if we be dead with[ him], we shall also live with[ him]:If we suffer, we shall also reign with[ him]: if we deny[ him], he also will deny us:

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Would to God ye could bear with me a little in[ my] folly: and indeed bear with me.

And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.

But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also[ to see] you:Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;

And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD’S people were prophets,[ and] that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!

Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Your glorying[ is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
