爾讀之、可知我洞悉基督之奧秘、先世未嘗示人、今則以神啟示聖徒及先知矣、即異邦人同為嗣子、同其肢體、且由福音共與所許、在基督耶穌中者、我為福音之役、依上帝所賜之恩、乃依其能之功用而賜我也、我在聖徒中、乃微之又微者、尚蒙此恩、俾以基督莫測之富有宣諸異邦、令眾知此頒布之奧秘、即歷世隱於創造萬有之上帝者、

彼救我儕、召以聖召、非依我行、乃依己旨與恩、即永世之先、由基督耶穌而賜我者、

爾既聞之、今悉見之、尚不宣示乎、自今而後、我以新事示爾、即爾所未知之秘奧、乃今新創、非昔所有、爾前此所未聞、免爾曰、我已知之矣、

宅地之人、其名自創世時未錄於見殺之羔維生之册者、皆將拜獸、

我勸爾中諸長老、我亦同為長老、證基督受苦、共與將顯之榮者、

乃考基督之神在其衷者、預證基督受苦、而後得榮、所指何時、何如時、
