我们所领受的，不是这世界的灵，而是从神而来的灵，好让我们能知道神所赐给我们的这些事；

What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.

要知道，顺着肉体的人，思想属肉体的事；顺着圣灵的人，思想属圣灵的事。属肉体的思想带来死亡；属圣灵的思想带来生命和平安。

我们知道：我们属于神，但整个世界都伏在那恶者之下。我们也知道：神的儿子已经来了，并且把领悟的心赐给了我们，使我们能认识真实的那一位。我们在真实的那一位里面，也就是在他的儿子耶稣基督里面——这一位就是真神，就是永恒的生命。

他将荣耀我，因为他将从我领受，并传讲给你们。父所拥有的一切，都是我的。所以我说，圣灵将从我领受，并传讲给你们。

就是说，你们所领受的不是一个奴役的灵，使你们再有惧怕；相反，你们所领受的是使你们有儿子名份的圣灵——藉着他，我们呼叫：“阿爸！父啊！”圣灵亲自与我们的灵一同作证：我们是神的儿女。

孩子们哪，你们属于神，而且你们已经胜过了假先知们，因为那在你们里面的，比那在世界上的更大。他们属于世界，所以他们说的属于世界，而世界也听从他们。

所以现在，那些在基督耶稣里的人，就不被定罪了，

对于他们，这世代的神把这些不信之人的心眼弄瞎了，使他们不能洞察基督荣耀的福音之光。基督就是神的形像。

随后，天使对我说：“这些话是信实的、真实的。主——众先知之灵的神，差派了他的天使，要把这些必须快发生的事指示给他的奴仆们。”

或者，你们以为经上所说的“神使圣灵住在我们里面，他爱我们到嫉妒的地步”是空话吗？

无论是保罗、是阿波罗、是矶法、是世界、是生、是死、是现在的事、是将来的事，全都属于你们；

在其中，你们从前行事为人，是顺着这世界的潮流，顺着那空中势力的掌权者，就是现今在那些不信从的儿女里面做工的灵。

神既然没有顾惜自己的儿子，为我们所有的人舍弃了他，难道不会把万有也连同他一起赐给我们吗？

然而，在成熟的人中间，我们也讲智慧，但不是这世代的智慧，也不是这世代中将要被废除的那些统治者的智慧。

然而神却拣选了世上愚拙的，为了使那些有智慧的羞愧；神又拣选了世上软弱的，为了使那些强壮的羞愧；

于是那巨龙被摔了下来。它就是那古蛇，被称为魔鬼和撒旦，那迷惑普天下的。它被摔在地上，它的使者们也与它一起被摔了下来。
