惟天主以其神、示之於我、蓋聖神窮察萬事、及天主之深奧、

蓋未受之於人、亦未學之、乃耶穌基督默示我者也、

以深奧隱秘之事示人、通悉暗中所有、光明與主偕居、

先知得默示、知所宣之事非為己、乃為我儕、此事賴自天所遣之聖神而傳福音者已告爾、天使亦願詳察此事焉、○

自暗中彰顯奧妙、使陰翳變為光明、使陰翳變為光明原文作使死陰露於光明

有人由此神得言有智慧之言、有人由此神得言有知識之言、有人由此神得信德、有人由此神得醫病之能、有人得行異能、有人得言未來之事、有人得辨神之真偽、有人得言方言、方言或作神言除十四章十節方言之外下同有人得解方言、此諸事皆為此一神所行、隨己意頒與各人、○
