洎乎其昇天之日是日也、耶穌既憑聖神、遺言於其手選之宗徒、乃昇於天。蓋自其受難以後、其復活之證、不一而足、現形於其徒者凡四十日、為之闡述天主之國。一日與諸徒同席、諭以莫離耶路撒冷、靜候天主所許者之臨格。曰：『是即爾等所聞於予者、蓋如望所用以施洗者水耳、而爾等不日將受聖神之洗矣。』諸徒環集而問曰：『主之復興義塞國、今其時乎。』耶穌對曰：『何時何期、非爾等所可知、惟父自定、然聖神降臨、將賜爾等以神力、而爾等將為予作證、始自耶路撒冷、繼及猶太沙瑪里、終至普天率土、無遠不屆。』諭畢、即當眾目環視之際、攝引昇天、朵雲接之、杳然不能復瞻。方其昇也、諸徒猶仰天注視、倏有白衣二人、立於其側曰：『加利利人乎、胡為木立而視天、爾曹親見耶穌昇天、來日渠之降臨亦復如是。』諸徒乃自忠果山返耶路撒冷、山與城相距不遠、約一禮日之程耳。

耶穌引諸徒至伯大尼、舉手為之祝嘏。

諸徒正共談此事、耶穌倏立其中曰：『錫爾平安！』

乃立赴耶路撒冷、值十二宗徒與同人聚處、

伯鐸祿以手示意、誡毋喧；遂縷述主為其脫獄事、並囑告之雅谷伯及諸兄弟。遂去而之他。
