“他要降临的应许在哪里呢？因为自从列祖睡了以来，万物依然存在，与起初创造的时候一样。”

十一个门徒往加利利去，到了耶稣指定的山上。他们看见耶稣就拜他，但仍然有些人怀疑。

我们现在照着主的话告诉你们：我们这些活着存留到主再来的人，绝不能在那些睡了的人以先。

然后跪下来大声喊着说：“主啊，不要把这罪归给他们！”说了这话，就睡了。

那么，在基督里睡了的人也就灭亡了。

弟兄们，论到睡了的人，我们不愿意你们不知道，免得你们忧伤，像那些没有盼望的人一样。
