這樣，我們就被看做是神的假見證人，因為我們見證了有關神的事，說神使基督復活了，如果死人真不會復活，神就沒有使基督復活；

死者不起、則上帝未嘗起基督、而我證其起之、適為妄證於上帝、

死者不甦、則上帝未甦基督、而吾證上帝甦之、則為妄證、

若死者不復活、則天主未使基督復活、而我儕證天主曾使之復活、是我儕為天主妄證矣、

不寧惟是、吾人將為天主之偽證矣。蓋死者苟無復活、則天主實未復活基督、而吾人強為之證曰、天主已復活之矣、是非偽證而何。

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we witnessed of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead are not raised.

But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?And why not say( just as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say),“ Let’s do evil that good may come of it”? Their condemnation is deserved.

But the fact is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.
