若有人自以為先知、或自以為感於神者、當知我書此以告爾者、乃主之命也、

If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.

Suppose anyone thinks they are a prophet. Or suppose they think they have other gifts given by the Holy Spirit. They should agree that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.

以慾而種者、必由慾穫敗壞、以神而種者、必由神穫永生、

論及童身、我未奉主命、但我既蒙主恩以為忠、即以己意告爾、

我藉所蒙之恩、告爾各人、勿高思過於所當、乃以不越分為思、循天主所賜各人信德之量、

我雖能言世人及天使之言、若無愛、則如鳴鉦響鈸、雖有先知之明、能探諸奧妙、得諸知識、信德俱備、能以移山、若無愛、則無益、雖傾所有以濟貧、又舍身被焚、若無愛則於我無益、

我今所行者、後亦必行之、以絕機於彼尋機之人、即欲即欲或作使其在自誇之事、與我無異者、彼乃偽使徒、行事詭詐、貌為基督之使徒、此亦不足為奇、蓋撒但亦貌為光明之天使、彼之役、貌為義之役、亦不甚奇、終必受報、依其所行之事、○

若人自以為知、則按所當知、無所知也、

使爾記憶聖先知之預言、及我主救主之命、即我使徒所授者也、

有自譽者、我儕不敢與之相同、與之相較、彼以己度己、以己較己、乃不智也、

設有人來、別傳一耶穌、我所未傳者、或爾別受一神、爾昔所未受者、或別承一福音、爾昔所未承者、爾則容之、

兄弟乎、我儕尚有言、我儕因我主耶穌基督、求爾勸爾、既受我儕之教、如何當行而見悅於天主、則宜多求進益、蓋爾知我儕因主耶穌以何誡授爾也、天主之旨、欲爾聖潔而戒淫、欲爾各人知以聖潔貴重守己之身、身原文作器勿縱慾如彼不知天主之異邦人、勿越理欺兄弟、凡如此之事、天主必施報、此我儕已明告爾而警戒爾、蓋天主召我、非為污穢、乃為聖潔、故凡拒者、非拒人、乃拒天主、即以其聖神賜我儕者、○

可愛者乎、爾當憶我主耶穌基督之使徒所預言者、

得聞天主言、得知至上主之妙義、得觀全能者之異象、身臥而目明之人曰、
