Her husband has nullified them, and the Lord will release her.Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow she makes or any sworn pledge to deny herself.

Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

They submitted themselves to their own husbands,like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.For man did not come from woman, but woman from man;neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.It is for this reason that a woman ought to have authority over her own head, because of the angels.

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

In the Law it is written:“ With other tongues and through the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord.”
