弟兄們，那麼卻怎麼樣呢？你們聚攏來的時候，各人或是有「詩篇」，或是有教訓，或是有啓示，或是有捲舌頭話，或是有解明：都要為建立而作。

弟兄們，那麼該怎麼辦呢？你們聚集的時候，各人或有詩歌，或有教導，或有啟示，或有殊言，或有翻譯出來的話語——一切都要為了造就人。

兄弟乎、是當若何、爾既集、或歌詩、或施教、或述啟示、或言方言、或譯方言、皆宜為建德而行、

兄弟乎、事當若何、爾既集、各人或頌詩、或教訓、或言諸國方言、或默示、或譯諸國方言、皆宜行之以輔德、

兄弟乎、事當若何、爾曹既集、各人或歌頌、或教訓、

然則兄弟究應如何？爾等聚會時、各有貢獻、或以聖詠、或以教理、或以啟示、或以方言、或以繙譯；總之、亦在己立立人、己達達人而已矣。

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.

Brothers and sisters, what should we say then? When you come together, each of you brings something. You bring a hymn or a teaching or a message from God. You bring a message in another language or explain what was said in that language. Everything must be done to build up the church.

What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.

Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.

What then, brothers and sisters? Whenever you come together, each one has a hymn, a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Everything is to be done for building up.

What is the outcome then, brothers and sisters? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. All things are to be done for edification.

How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

应当用诗章、圣诗、灵歌，彼此呼应，口唱心和地赞美主。

所以，我们总要追求和睦的事，与彼此造就的事。

圣灵显现在各人的身上，为的是要使人得着益处。有人藉着圣灵领受了智慧的言语，又有人靠着同一位圣灵领受了知识的言语，又有人因着同一位圣灵领受了信心，还有人因着这位圣灵领受了医病的恩赐，另有人可以行神迹，另有人可以讲道，另有人可以辨别诸灵，也有人能说各种的方言，也有人能翻译方言。

所以，你们应该彼此劝慰，互相造就，正如你们一向所行的。

全身靠着他，藉着每一个关节的支持，照着每部分的功用，配合联系起来，使身体渐渐长大，在爱中建立自己。

因此，我趁着不在你们那里的时候，把这些话写给你们，到我来了，就不必凭着主所给我的权柄严厉地对待你们。这权柄不是要拆毁你们，而是要建立你们。

你们一直以为我们是在向你们申辩吗？我们是在基督里，当着神面前说话的。亲爱的，一切事都是为了建立你们。

你们也是这样，你们既然热切地渴慕属灵的恩赐，就应当追求多多得着造就教会的恩赐。所以，说方言的应当祈求，使他能把方言翻译出来。

凡事都要规规矩矩地按着次序行。

一句坏话也不可出口，却要适当地说造就人的好话，使听见的人得益处。

如果有人说方言，只可以有两个人，或最多三个人，并且要轮流说，同时要有一个人翻译。

为的是要装备圣徒，去承担圣工，建立基督的身体；

那说方言的是造就自己，但那讲道的是造就教会。我愿意你们都说方言，但我更愿意你们都讲道；因为那说方言的，如果不翻译出来使教会得着造就，就远不如那讲道的了。弟兄们，你们想想，如果我到你们那里去，只说方言，不向你们讲有关启示、知识、预言，或教训的话，那我对你们有什么益处呢？
