當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富地存在心裏，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌神。

時候將到，如今就是了，那真正拜父的，要用心靈和誠實拜他，因為父要這樣的人拜他。」神是個靈，所以拜他的必須用心靈和誠實拜他。

靠着聖靈，隨時多方禱告祈求；並要在此警醒不倦，為眾聖徒祈求，

不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。不要醉酒，酒能使人放蕩；乃要被聖靈充滿。當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌彼此對說，口唱心和地讚美主。凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名常常感謝父神。

親愛的弟兄啊，你們卻要在至聖的真道上造就自己，在聖靈裏禱告，

所以，弟兄們，我以神的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上，當作活祭，是聖潔的，是神所喜悅的；你們如此事奉乃是理所當然的。不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。

因為神是全地的王；你們要用悟性歌頌。

但在教會中，寧可用悟性說五句教導人的話，強如說萬句方言。

我是怎麼說呢？豈是說祭偶像之物算得甚麼呢？或說偶像算得甚麼呢？

我且照着人的常話說，我們的不義若顯出神的義來，我們可以怎麼說呢？神降怒，是他不義嗎？

這有何妨呢？或是假意，或是真心，無論怎樣，基督究竟被傳開了。為此，我就歡喜，並且還要歡喜；

既是這樣，還有甚麼說的呢？神若幫助我們，誰能敵擋我們呢？

我在他兒子福音上，用心靈所事奉的神可以見證，我怎樣不住地提到你們；
