God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.

功用有殊、而上帝惟一、行萬事於眾中、

所行之異能有殊、而天主惟一、行諸事於眾中、

功效雖變化無窮、而所以致之者、則為推動萬有之唯一天主也。

There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

There are different ways the Spirit works. But the same God is working in all these ways and in all people.

and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.

And there are different activities, but the same God works all of them in each person.

There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons.

And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all.

And there are different activities, but the same God activates each gift in each person.

And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

And there are different results, but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.

There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.

In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

Then, when all things are under his authority, the Son will put himself under God’s authority, so that God, who gave his Son authority over all things, will be utterly supreme over everything everywhere.

may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.

That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me.

But Jesus replied,“ My Father is always working, and so am I.”

“ Yes, God does these things again and again for people.

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty powerthat raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else— not only in this world but also in the world to come.God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.

It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
