Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.For even Christ didn’t please himself. But, as it is written,“ The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”

Again, do you think that we are excusing ourselves to you? In the sight of God we speak in Christ. But all things, beloved, are for your edifying.

if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh, and may save some of them.

Besides those things that are outside, there is that which presses on me daily: anxiety for all the assemblies.Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I don’t burn with indignation?
