時有經士與法利賽數人謂耶穌曰、師、我願觀爾行異跡、答曰、姦惡之世求異跡、先知約拿異跡而外、不以異跡示之、

有屬以彼古羅門與司多亞門之博士數人、亦與辯論、有曰、此妄談者欲何言、有曰、彼似宣傳他邦之鬼神者、蓋保羅向彼傳耶穌及復活之道也、眾援之、引至亞畧巴古、曰、爾所說之新教、我儕可知乎、爾有異聞傳入我耳、我儕欲知其何意、眾雅典人及居彼之旅人、不遑他務、惟新事是言是聽、

法利賽及撒度該人來試耶穌、請示以自天之異跡、耶穌曰、暮時爾云天必晴、因天紅也、朝時爾云今日必有風雨、因天紅而晦也、偽善者乎、爾能別天色、獨不能知此時之異跡乎、姦惡之世求異跡、先知約拿異跡之外、不以異跡示之、遂離之而去、○

又有試之者、求示以自天之異跡、

法利賽人出而詰耶穌、求示以自天之異跡、意欲試之、

猶太人謂之曰、爾既為此、以何異跡示我、

若我藉天主大能大能原文作指逐魔、則天主國臨爾矣、

婦遺瓶入邑、告人曰、
