即使我在言語上沒有技巧，但在知識上並不是這樣。其實我們在各個方面、在所有的事上都已經向你們顯明了這一點。

其實不是耶穌親自施洗，而是他的門徒們施洗。

我們誠然在肉體中行事，但不憑著肉體爭戰，因為我們爭戰所用的兵器不是屬肉體的，而是有屬神的能力，可以拆毀堡壘——拆毀各樣的心思，

他就吩咐他們奉耶穌基督的名受洗；然後他們請求彼得在那裡多住幾天。

我要從以色列子民和外邦人當中把你救出來。我差派你到他們那裡去，為了開啟他們的眼睛，使他們從黑暗歸向光明，從撒旦的權勢下歸向神，使他們因著信我，罪得赦免，並且與那些被分別為聖的人同得繼業。』

我說話、我傳道，不是藉著有智慧的說服性的話語，而是藉著聖靈和大能的明證，好讓你們的信仰不靠人的智慧，而靠神的大能。

相反，把那些可恥的隱祕之事棄絕了；不以詭詐行事，也不歪曲神的話語；反而藉著顯明真理，在神面前把自己推薦給每個人的良心。

因為有人說：「保羅的書信又嚴厲又強硬，但他親身在的時候卻是軟弱的人，他的言語也被藐視。」
