Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family( the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the tent just as their ancestors had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the Lord.

Shallum was the son of Kore. Kore was the son of Ebiasaph. Ebiasaph was the son of Korah. Shallum and the other Levites in his family belonged to the family line of Korah. They had the duty of guarding the entrances to the tent. From long ago, their people had the duty of guarding the entrance to the house of the Lord.

Shallum the son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his kinsmen of his fathers’ house, the Korahites, were in charge of the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, as their fathers had been in charge of the camp of the Lord, keepers of the entrance.

Shallum was the son of Kore, a descendant of Abiasaph, from the clan of Korah. He and his relatives, the Korahites, were responsible for guarding the entrance to the sanctuary, just as their ancestors had guarded the Tabernacle in the camp of the Lord.

Shallum son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah and his relatives from his ancestral family, the Korahites, were assigned to guard the thresholds of the tent. Their ancestors had been assigned to the LORD’s camp as guardians of the entrance.

你們要這樣做：在安息日值班的祭司和利未人，三分之一要把守各門，三分之一要在王宮，三分之一要在根基門；眾百姓都要在耶和華殿的院內。除了祭司和供職的利未人之外，不准別人進耶和華的殿；只有他們可以進去，因為他們是神聖的。眾百姓都要遵守耶和華所吩咐的。利未人要手中各拿兵器，四圍保護王；凡擅自進殿的，要被處死。王出入的時候，你們當跟隨他。」利未人和猶大眾人都照着耶何耶大祭司一切所吩咐的去做，各帶自己的人，無論安息日值班或不值班的都來，因為耶何耶大祭司不許他們下班。耶何耶大祭司就把上帝殿裏所藏大衛王的槍和大小盾牌交給百夫長，又分派眾百姓手中各拿兵器，在祭壇和殿那裏，從殿南到殿北，站在王的四圍；

哥轄的後裔：他的兒子亞米拿達，他的兒子可拉，他的兒子亞惜，他的兒子以利加拿，他的兒子以比雅撒，他的兒子亞惜，

以利押的兒子是尼母利、大坍、亞比蘭。這大坍、亞比蘭，就是從會中選出來，當可拉一夥的人向耶和華爭鬧的時候，一起向摩西、亞倫爭鬧的；地開了裂口，吞了他們和可拉，可拉一夥的人也一同死亡。當時火吞滅了二百五十個人；他們就成為鑒戒。然而可拉的眾子沒有死亡。

耶何耶大祭司吩咐管軍兵的百夫長，對他們說：「把她從行列之間趕出去，凡跟隨她的必用刀殺死！」因為祭司說：「不可在耶和華殿裏殺她。」

他們無論大小，都按着父系抽籤，分守各門。抽到東門的是示利米雅；他的兒子撒迦利亞是精明的謀士，抽到北門。俄別‧以東守南門，他的兒子守倉庫。書聘與何薩守西門，在靠近沙利基門、通往上去的街道上，守衛與守衛相對。東門有六個利未人，北門每日有四人，南門每日有四人，庫房有兩人輪流替換。至於走廊，在西面街道上有四人，在走廊上有兩人。以上是可拉子孫和米拉利子孫門口守衛的班次。

上帝啊，你在古時，我們列祖的日子所做的事，我們親耳聽見了，我們的列祖曾為我們述說。

萬民哪，你們都當聽這話！世上所有的居民，無論貴賤貧富，都當側耳而聽！

眾百夫長就照着耶何耶大祭司一切所吩咐的去做，各帶自己的人，無論安息日值班或不值班的，都到耶何耶大祭司那裏。

上帝啊，我的心切慕你，如鹿切慕溪水。

在你的院宇一日，勝似千日；寧可在我上帝的殿中看門，不願住在惡人的帳棚裏。
