The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

各人心裡想捐多少就捐多少，不要勉強，不要為難。因為捐得甘心樂意的人才是上帝所喜愛的。上帝能夠將各樣的恩典多多賜給你們，使你們在各方面常常富足有餘，可以多行各樣的善事。

我的上帝啊，我知道你洞察人心，喜愛正直的人。我懷著正直的心甘願獻上這一切，我也看見你這裡的子民甘心樂意地將財物獻給你。

我在主裡真是非常喜樂，因為你們現在又一次關心我。其實你們向來都很關心我，只是沒有機會。

「我把這些事告訴你們，是要叫你們心裡有我的喜樂，讓你們的喜樂滿溢。

現在，提摩太剛從你們那裡回來，把有關你們信心和愛心的好消息告訴了我們。他說你們常常思念我們，很想見到我們，就像我們渴望見到你們一樣。弟兄姊妹，你們的信心使我們在萬般困苦和患難中得到了激勵。得知你們靠著主堅定不移，我們現在感到振奮。你們使我們在上帝面前感到非常喜樂，我們該怎樣為你們感謝上帝呢！

七週後，要為你們的上帝耶和華守七七收穫節。那時，你們要按照你們的上帝耶和華所賜的福分，甘心樂意地獻上祭物。你們要和兒女、僕婢、同城的利未人、寄居者及孤兒寡婦在你們的上帝耶和華選定的敬拜場所，在祂面前一起歡喜快樂。

並邀來朋友鄰居，說，『我走失的羊找到了，來和我一同慶祝吧！』

因為人只要按自己的能力甘心樂意地去做，必蒙上帝悅納，上帝不會強求人做無法做的事。

我的心追隨以色列的首領，追隨民中踴躍出征的人。你們要讚美耶和華！

我所親愛、所想念的弟兄姊妹，你們就是我的喜樂，我的冠冕。我親愛的弟兄姊妹，你們要靠主堅定不移。

你跟仇敵作戰的時候，你的百姓必甘心跟從，他們衣著聖潔，如清晨的甘露。

孩子啊，你若心裡有智慧，我心裡也會歡喜。你的口若說正直的話，我的內心也歡暢不已。

好使你們在這個彎曲敗壞的時代中無可指責、誠實無偽，作上帝純潔無瑕的兒女，如同明光照耀在世上，堅守生命之道。這樣，到了基督再來的時候，我可以誇口自己沒有空跑一場，也沒有白費功夫。你們的信心就是獻給上帝的事奉和祭物，即使在上面澆奠我的生命，我也很喜樂，並且和你們大家一同喜樂。
