So Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king in place of his father David. He prospered and all Israel obeyed him.

所羅門繼父大衛之位、其國甚鞏固、○

主賜我多子、在我眾子中、選我子所羅門坐主之國位、以治以色列人、

我言爾當守王命、既指天主而誓、自當如此、勿急躁退於王前、命雖難行、從之勿緩、蓋王所欲行者必行之、王之命有權、孰能詰之曰、爾所為何事、守命者不至受禍、智人之心、知有時勢、有法度、

我子歟、願主祐爾、使爾亨通、為主爾之天主建殿、循主指爾所言、

居上位秉權者、人人當服之、蓋無權非由天主、凡秉權者皆天主所命、

迨爾年壽已滿、歸爾列祖之處、我必立爾後裔、繼爾位、我亦必鞏固其國、彼必為我名建殿、我必堅定其國位、至於永遠、

主向大衛誠實發誓、決不反覆、曰、我必使爾所出之苗裔、登爾之位、

因有一嬰孩為我儕而生、有一子賜於我儕、國政為其所肩荷、其名稱為奇妙、策士、全能之神、永在之父、平康之君、其權增益、平康無盡、必坐於大衛之位而治其國、秉公行義、使其國保定鞏固、自今直至永世、萬有之主必由熱中而行此、○
