Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness.

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap,to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people.

For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up,but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.

I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel, for he is the living God, enduring forever; his kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion shall be to the end.

The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil— this is the gift of God.

being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy;

O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father kingship and greatness and glory and majesty.And because of the greatness that he gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. Whom he would, he killed, and whom he would, he kept alive; whom he would, he raised up, and whom he would, he humbled.But when his heart was lifted up and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was brought down from his kingly throne, and his glory was taken from him.He was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, until he knew that the Most High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will.

Ascribe power to God, whose majesty is over Israel, and whose power is in the skies.Awesome is God from his sanctuary; the God of Israel— he is the one who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!

Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?”

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts;he has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate;he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty.

Jesus answered him,“ You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.”

The Lord is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed.

May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!

If it is a contest of strength, behold, he is mighty! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;he is my steadfast love and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.

For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?—the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless.

Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God,

And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”

The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts.He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and on them he has set the world.
