1 Chronicles 24 1-1 Chronicles 24 26
Now[ these are] the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and[ thus] were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar[ there were] sixteen chief men of the house of[ their] fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors[ of the house] of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe,[ one] of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and[ before] the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and[ one] taken for Ithamar.Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.These[ were] the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.And the rest of the sons of Levi[ were these]: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first[ was] Isshiah.Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.And the sons[ of Hebron]; Jeriah[ the first], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.[ Of] the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.The brother of Michah[ was] Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.The sons of Merari[ were] Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.

And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun,[ both] of blue, and of purple,[ and] of scarlet, and of fine linen.And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’[ hair].And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,And in the cutting of stones, to set[ them], and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.And he hath put in his heart that he may teach,[ both] he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver,[ even] of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom,[ even] every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it[ withal]. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
