“你知道我父亲大卫因四围的争战，不能为耶和华他神的名建殿，直等到耶和华使仇敌都服在他脚下。

约沙法便惧怕，定意寻求耶和华，在犹大全地宣告禁食。

我将约柜安置在其中，柜内有耶和华的约，就是他与以色列人所立的约。”

他到了那里，看见神所赐的恩就欢喜，劝勉众人，立定心志，恒久靠主。

我便禁食，披麻蒙灰，定意向主神祈祷恳求。

现在你为什么耽延呢？起来，求告他的名受洗，洗去你的罪。’”

又说：“我今日所警教你们的，你们都要放在心上；要吩咐你们的子孙谨守遵行这律法上的话。因为这不是虚空、与你们无关的事，乃是你们的生命；在你们过约旦河要得为业的地上必因这事日子得以长久。”

并有无数的金银铜铁。你当起来办事，愿耶和华与你同在。”

现在万军之耶和华如此说：你们要省察自己的行为。

兴起，发光！因为你的光已经来到！耶和华的荣耀发现照耀你。
